Gujranwala Bar pays tribute to Jammu martyrs

Srinagar: The Bar Association of Gujranwala in Pakistan Punjab held a function, today, to eulogize the sacrifices of the Jammu martyrs of 1947.The function was attended by a large number of lawyers and people belonging to different walks of life. The speakers including APHC-AJK Convener, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Mir TahirMasood, Manzoor-ul-Haq Butt, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Sheikh Mohammad Yaqoob, Abdul Majeed Malik and Abdul Majeed Mir said that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs.They said that the people of Kashmir had been rendering sacrifices since 1947 and would never compromise on their birthright to self-determination. They said that India had utilizing all cheap tactics but failed to suppress the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people. They said that Kashmiri people were facing the worst kind of Indian state terrorism but despite that they would take their liberation movement to its logical conclusion.
